It’s my great honor to publish first issue of The Annals of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ACNM), which is the integrated journal of the Korean Society of Surgical Metabolism and Nutrition (KSSMN) and the Korean Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (KSPEN).
The ACNM is dedicated to advancing the field of clinical nutrition and metabolism by publishing informative and inspirational scientific evidence.
There has been a remarkable upsurge of interest in clinical nutrition and metabolism in the last decade. The increasing scientific evidence of metabolic disturbance in chronic and acute diseases has advanced and developed clinical practice of nutrition therapy. There is an indissoluble connection between clinical nutrition and metabolism.
The ACMN is a platform for the communication and exchange of scientific research and current practice in the field of clinical nutrition and metabolism. The ACNM will encourage submissions from developing countries that present insightful research findings and enlightening perspectives on various clinical situations.
I believe ACNM will open a new horizon of clinical nutrition and metabolism beyond the integration of journals.
